Every professional has his or her own set of tools that they use to get the job done. Web developers are no different. Here is my list of tools that I enjoy using for my projects.
JavaScript is a high-level, dynamic, untyped, and interpreted programming language. It has been standardized in the ECMAScript language specification. Alongside HTML and CSS, it is one of the three core technologies of World Wide Web content production; the majority of websites employ it and it is supported by all modern Web browsers without plug-ins.
HTML5 is a markup language used for structuring and presenting content on the World Wide Web. It is the fifth and current version of the HTML standard published in October 2014 by the World Wide Web Consortium to improve the language with support for the latest multimedia, while keeping it easily readable by humans and consistently understood by computers and devices such as web browsers, parsers, etc.
Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) is a style sheet language used for describing the presentation of a document written in HTML. Along with HTML and JavaScript, CSS is a cornerstone technology used by most websites to create visually engaging webpages, user interfaces for web applications, and user interfaces for many mobile applications.
jQuery is a cross-platform JavaScript library designed to simplify the client-side scripting of HTML. jQuery is the most popular JavaScript library in use today, with installation on 65% of the top 10 million highest-trafficked sites on the Web. jQuery is free, open-source software licensed under the MIT License.
AngularJS is an open-source web application framework mainly maintained by Google that aims to simplify the development of single-page applications by providing a framework for client-side model-view-controller (MVC) and model-view-viewmodel (MVVM) architectures.
ASP.NET is an open-source server-side web application framework designed for web development to produce dynamic web pages. It was developed by Microsoft to allow programmers to build dynamic web sites, web applications and web services. ASP.NET is built on the Common Language Runtime (CLR), allowing programmers to write ASP.NET code using any supported .NET language.

Sean Hairston started his career as a trainee in a small start-up development firm in Baltimore called Catalyst. At this company, Sean would move from development trainee, to intern, to developer. Sean would move on from Catalyst to work at Nasdaq in Rockville, MD. It was at Nasdaq that Sean would further cement his understanding of client-side browser scripting and user experience.
